Collaboration with Researchers located at the Laboratory of Animal Growth and Nutrition, ESALQ/USP, Piracicaba, SP, Brazil on nutrient requirements and production efficiency of Nellore cattle.

 

E. (Kika) De La Garza institute for Goat Research, Langston University, Langston, Oklahoma  (Drs. A. L. Goetsch and T. Sahlu).  Continuing efforts with researchers to elucidate nutrient requirements and factors affecting nutrient utilization of goats.

  

Langston University, Langston, Oklahoma (Dr. Art Goetsch).  Efforts were initiated to provide anaerobic microbiology training to scientists at Langston University and to conduct collaborative research to reduce methane emissions from ruminants.

  

University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada (Dr. Steve Miller).  The objective of this cooperative research project is to evaluate the feasibility of using predictions of feed intake obtained with computer models in genetic evaluations of beef sires for feed efficiency.
